Humanoid

“Julie Kunz delivers a fabulous performance as the robot Vera in ‘Humanoid’, which provides food for thought around concepts such as artificial intelligence and robots in human-like functions.” — Randi K. Pedersen, Teateravisen

An interactive solo performance about robots (45 minutes).

Julie created the performance Humanoid to examine the difference between real and artificial and what makes something human. In this comic interactive piece she shines a light on the juxtaposition between humans and robots. She wants to give the sensory experience of interacting with a humanoid in real life and to raise the question of what humanity really is. The performance is created by Julie’s company Kunz and Company and produced by Uppercut Danseteater.
